“moat or cycle (view from santa fe bus in 2022)”

this is from a video i took on the route 1 (?) bus in santa fe back in 2022. i was taking the bus to the studio to paint. i think i ended up painting don schrader that day. i saw the smoke billowing from behind a fire department vehicle. on my phone i was listening to some song. what was it? i was about to put the lyric i remember here, but i also butcher lyrics. i started doing a screen recording on my phone and then i pulled up my camera app so the screen recorded video showed what was happening while capturing the sound of the music i was listening to at the time. maybe i will find that video and update this with what the song was. when the bus passed by the fire department’s suv, it was revealed the fire was actually on a motorcycle. my video i capture shows the camera suddenly on a man in a motorcycle helmet watching the fire, a cop watching it, and a woman frantically running with a fire extinguisher. i think about that moment all the time. i am glad i decided to go paint at that time on that day.
alright. curiosity thrilled this cat so i had to find the original video. the song i couldn’t remember was “born killer” by scar face. if you buy this painting i will try to find a way to get the video to you. it really is a nice watch.
